Ryedale Environmental Group are holding a Restoring Nature conference on Friday 27th September (9:00-16:00) at Kirby Misperton Village Hall. It includes breakfast and lunch

The primary aim of this conference is to help Town and Parish Councils fulfil their increasing obligations to support nature recovery by offering information, advice, case studies and networking opportunities.

The event is open to anyone with an interest in increasing biodiversity in our beautiful area of Yorkshire so please share.

As well as the comprehensive agenda below, other experts will be on hand to provide inspiration and advice on a wide range of nature recovery topics. Exhibitors include North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Yorkshire Derwent Catchment Partnership, Yorkshire Rewilding Network, Forest of Flowers, Howardian Hills National Landscape, Pickering Slow the Flow and local environmental groups. Opportunities to network and visit exhibitors' stalls will be available during the breaks and after the formal programme has finished at 3pm.
